We would like your feedback on a rezoning application at 1002-1052 Seymour St and 550 Nelson St. This rezoning application proposes to change the zoning from DD (Downtown) to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) to enable the conversion of 3.99 FSR of residential use (strata) floor area to commercial use for a hotel.
No form of development changes to the building are proposed.
As a part of City Council’s approval of the Granville Street Planning Program, Council also endorsed the Granville Street Interim Rezoning Policy that allows for the consideration of rezoning applications where the proposal includes at least 75% of the total FSR to be developed as hotel use.
