The City of Vancouver has received an application to rezone the subject site from R1-1 (Residential Inclusive) to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. The proposal is to allow for the development of a 6-storey institutional building limited to the Community Care Facility — Class B use. The building is over one level of underground parking.

The proposal includes:

  • 164 licensed care units;
  • A floor space ratio (FSR) of 3.21;
  • A building height of 27.4 m (90 ft.); and
  • 40 vehicle parking spaces and 14 bicycle spaces.

This application is being considered under the Interim Rezoning Policy for Social Housing, Seniors Housing and Institutional, Cultural and Recreational Uses in Former Community Vision Areas.
