The Director of Planning approved the application on August 14, 2026, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


Strand Holdings Ltd. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:

  • A five-storey residential rental building with amenity level above
  • A total of 132 residential rental units
  • Approximately 90,000 sq.ft. of residential space
  • One level of below grade parking as well as surface parking at rear, having vehicular access from the existing lane

Under the site’s existing R3-2 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
