The Director of Planning has requested you be advised that this application was considered on December 2, 2022, and was refused.  

It should be noted, however, that the applicant has the right to appeal this decision of refusal to the Board of Variance in accordance with the provisions of the Vancouver Charter.


Top House Renovation Ltd., has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission for alterations to demise one unit into two units (#1088 and #1092) and to change the use of Unit #1092 from Retail Store (Optical) to an Adult Retail Store consisting of:

  • Proposed Adult Retail Store of approximately 815.0 sq. ft.
  • Proposed hours of operation: 10 am – 12 am (midnight), seven (7) days a week
  • For the sale of Adult Retail projects

Under the site’s existing C-3A zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
