The Development Permit Board approved the application on October 3, 2023, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


Vancouver Community College has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:

  • An eight-storey post secondary education facility
  • A floor area of 28,843.85 m² (310,472.6 sq.ft.)
  • A Floor Space Ratio of 6.32
  • Two levels of underground parking

Under the site’s existing CD-1 (141) zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Development Permit Board.
