An appeal was heard by the Board of Variance on February 4, 2025 and was ALLOWED, thereby overturning the decision of the Director of Planning.  A Development Permit was issued on November 19, 2024.

Bakerview Building Design has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to perform interior and exterior alterations to this existing multiple dwelling building, consisting of:

  • Addition to the existing penthouse suite
  • Addition of a new roof deck cover and expansion of the roof deck
  • A proposed Floor Space Ratio of 1.50 (approximately 16,905.23 sq. ft.

Under the site’s existing RM-3 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
