The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on May 4, 2023.


LQ Design Group Ltd has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to add, alter and convert this existing character one-family dwelling to a Multiple Conversion Dwelling (Building 1) containing four dwelling units and to develop an infill one-family dwelling (Building 2) in the rear portion of this site consisting of:

  • A total height of approximately 35 ft. for Building 1 and approximately 25 ft. for Building 2
  • A total Floor Space Ratio of 0.65 (approximately 5,350 sq. ft.) for Building 1 and 0.2 (approximately 1,700 sq. ft.) for Building 2
  • Three parking spaces provided having vehicular access from the lane

Under the site’s existing RS-5 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
