The Director of Planning approved the application on August 11, 2022, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


Measured Architecture Inc. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop a two-and-one-half-storey one-family dwelling with a detached accessory building (pool house attached to a garage) at the rear, consisting of:

  • A total height of approximately 44.7 ft.
  • A total Floor Space Ratio of 0.25 + 1,496 sq. ft. (approximately 6,400 sq. ft.)
  • Two parking spaces in the accessory building, having vehicular access from the lane, and one parking space in exterior side yard having vehicular access from Selkirk Street

Under the site’s existing FSHCA zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
