The City of Vancouver has received an application to rezone the subject site from I-1 (Industrial) District to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. The proposal is to allow for the development of a 15-storey mixed-usebuilding which includes:
Industrial, hotel, and artist studio uses;
A floor space ratio (FSR) of 9.0;
A building height of 52.4 m (172 ft.); and
Relocation and rehabilitation of the Black House (144 E 6th Ave) and relocation and reconstruction of the north facade of the Donnaconna Apartment (148 E 6th Ave).
The City’s Tenant Relocation and Protection Policy applies to this site. This policy provides assistance and protections to eligible renters impacted by redevelopment activity. To learn more visit: vancouver.ca/protecting-tenants.
