The Director of Planning approved the application on August 16, 2021, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


Matthew Cheng Architect Inc. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this existing site, consisting of:

  • A six-storey multiple dwelling building, consisting of 66 rental units
  • Two levels of underground parking on this existing site

This development application is pursuant to the CD-1 Rezoning, which was approved by City Council, following Public Hearing, on December 8, 2020. Among the conditions of Council’s approval, the applicant must satisfy the CD-1 Enactment Conditions and approval of the Form of Development. As a result, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
