The Director of Planning approved the application on April 20, 2023, subject to conditions. A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"
Formwerks Architectural Inc. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:
- To retain, alter and renovate this existing Heritage house at the rear of the site and to develop an infill single detached house at the front of the site
- A proposed total Floor Space Ratio of 0.83 for the site (Approximately 2,365 sq. ft.),
- 0.20 FSR for the existing house
- 0.63 FSR for the infill house
- Proposing total heights of approximately
- 27.7 ft. (Heritage)
- 34.7 ft. (infill)
- Infill house to include attached two-car garage having vehicular access from Stephens Street.
Under the site’s existing RT-8 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
