The Director of Planning approved the application on October 19, 2023, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


Wiedemann Architectural Design has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop an addition, and interior and exterior alterations to the existing Heritage B single detached house (Building 1) and to develop a new coach house at the rear (Building 2), consisting of:

  • A proposed total Floor Space Ratio of 0.45 (approximately 5,626 sq. ft.) for the site
  • Heights
    • approximately 46.5 ft. for Building 1
    • approximately 30.5 ft. for Building 2
  • Five parking spaces, having vehicular access from the lane and Cedar Crescent

Under the site’s existing FSD zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
