An appeal was heard by the Board of Variance on August 9, 2022 and was ALLOWED, thereby overturning the decision of the Director of Planning.  A Development Permit was issued on November 10, 2022.


KC Mooney Architect has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to perform:

  • Interior and exterior alterations to provide an addition of new bedrooms and sunroom approximately 523.00 sq. ft. on the fourth storey of this existing multiple dwelling building on this site
  • A height of 10.97 m (36.00 ft.)
  • A site Floor Space Ratio of 1.17 (approximately 7,031.00 sq. ft.)

Under the site’s existing RM-3A zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
