The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on January 31, 2024.

D3 Design has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:

  • To renovate/convert this existing one-family character dwelling to a Multiple Conversion Dwelling (Building 1) containing two dwelling units and, to develop an infill one-family dwelling (Building 2) at the rear of the site
  • A proposed total Floor Space Ratio of 0.85 for the site (approximately 3,404 sq. ft.)
    • 0.62 FSR for the existing house
    • 0.23 FSR for the infill house
  • Total heights of approximately 32.88 ft. (MCD retained height) and 25.5 ft. (infill proposed height)
  • Providing three surface parking stalls all having vehicular access from the lane

Under the site’s existing RT-5 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
