The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on January 18, 2023.

Wiedemann Architectural Design has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop this site, consisting of:

  • Two-storey with two levels below grade (cellars) one-family dwelling and a surface parking at rear, having vehicular access from the lane

Under the site’s existing RS-5 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.

Review of design guidelines applicable to one and two family dwellings in this district has been streamlined as per the Council report of June 8, 2021. This is a temporary measure for one year.
