2250 Nanaimo St (DP-2022-00898) development application

The Director of Planning approved the application on February 22, 2023, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


Hudson Projects Corporation has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:

  • A four-storey, mixed-use building consisting of four commercial retail units at grade and 38 dwelling units above with:
    • A proposed height of 15.2 m / 50 ft.
    • A proposed FSR of 2.5 (2,939 m² / 31,634 sq. ft.)
  • Over one level of underground parking with vehicular access from the lane

Under the site’s existing C-2 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
