The Director of Planning approved the application on December 13, 2022, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


Thomas Tsang Architect has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:

  • To alter and convert this existing character one-family dwelling to a Multiple Conversion Dwelling (Building 1) containing two dwelling units
    • Proposed total height of approximately 29.67 ft.
    • Proposed total Floor Space Ratio: 0.66 (approximately 2,665.99 sq. ft.)
  • To develop an infill one-family dwelling (Building 2)
    • Proposed total height of approximately 23.40 ft.
    • Proposed total Floor Space Ratio: 0.19 (approximately 759.36 sq. ft.)
  • Total of two parking spaces having vehicular access from the lane

Under the site’s existing RT-5N zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
