The Director of Planning has requested you be advised that this application was considered on June 30, 2021, and was refused. 

It should be noted, however, that the applicant has the right to appeal this decision of refusal to the Board of Variance in accordance with the provisions of the Vancouver Charter.


Pineapple Exchange Cannabis has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission for interior alterations and to change the use, at the above-noted address, to a Cannabis Retail Store consisting of:

  • Approximately 668.0 square feet
  • Proposed operating hours: 9 am - 11 pm, seven days a week

Under the site’s existing C-2C1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
