The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on September 27, 2021.


Urban Solutions Architecture Ltd. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to:

  • Retain the existing character one-family dwelling and reduce the existing deck at rear
  • Develop a new one-and-a-half-storey, one-family infill dwelling with an attached garage at the rear, providing two parking spaces having vehicular access from the lane
  • Total infill height of approximately 23.83 ft.
  • Total infill Floor Space Ratio of 0.25 (approximately 1,599.53 sq. ft.)

Under the site’s existing RS-5 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
