The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on November 9, 2022.


The City of Vancouver has received a request for permission to develop the following on this site:

  • To alter and convert this existing character Multiple Conversion Dwelling containing two housekeeping units and two dwelling units to a Multiple Conversion Dwelling (Building 1) containing two dwelling units, including:
    • A total height of approximately 35.1 ft.
    • A total Floor Space Ratio of 0.75 (approximately 3,160 sq. ft.)

    • A total height of approximately 25 ft.
    • A total Floor Space Ratio of 0.1 (approximately 420 sq. ft.)
  • Providing two parking spaces having vehicular access from the lane

Under the site’s existing RT-5 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
