The Director of Planning approved the application on April 4, 2023, subject to conditions. A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"
H.R. Hatch Architect Ltd. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop a new four-storey multiple dwelling building on this site, including:
- 22 strata dwelling units
- Floor Space Ratio of 1.45 (15,840 sq. ft. / 1,472 m²)
- Building height of 36.2 ft. / 11.0 m
- Over one level of underground parking having access from front of St. George St
- Refer also to supplementary Design Rationale document, for details on requested relaxations to height, front yard, side yard, rear yard and horizontal angle of daylight.
Under the site’s existing RM-4N, this application is “conditional” so it may be permitted, pending review and decision by the Director of Planning.
