The Director of Planning approved the application on August 2, 2024, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"

KC Mooney Architect has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to perform additions, and interior and exterior alterations to the existing single detached house, consisting of:

  • A proposed Floor Space Ratio of approximately 8,857 sq. ft.
  • A proposed height of approximately 23.62 ft.
  • Nine vehicle parking spaces, having access from West 51st Avenue

Under the site’s existing RA-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
