The Director of Planning approved the application on October 8, 2024, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents”.

Newport Developments Ltd. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop on this site:

  • Duplex with two secondary suites (Building 1), and single detached house (Building 2) at the rear, for a total of three dwelling units for the site
  • A total proposed Floor Space Ratio of 0.85 (approximately 4,010 sq. ft.) for the site
  • Proposed height of
    • approximately 35 ft. for Building 1
    • approximately 25 ft. for Building 2
  • A total of three parking spaces having access from the rear lane

Under the site’s existing RM-7AN zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
