The Director of Planning approved the application on March 27, 2026, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


ph5 Architecture Inc. has applied to the City of Vancouver to provide interior and exterior alterations and a change of use from yoga studio/ food retail to join the existing child daycare facility on the first and second floor and expanding the outdoor space, in this existing mixed-used building, including:

  • Increasing the capacity for up to 80 children
  • An addition of approximately 2,660 sq ft. for a total of 13,907 sq.ft. of floor area
  • Daycare hours of operation
    • 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Outdoor play area of approximately 7,200 sq.ft.

Under the site’s existing CD-1(162) zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
