The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on May 2, 2023.
Zeidler Architecture has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to perform exterior and interior alterations to provide improvements to this existing single detached house at this inside lot with no lane site.
Scope of work includes:
- new roof structure at rear (roof structure at front to remain) and new zinc roofing throughout
- new skylights
- conversion of the two-car attached garage to a single-car attached garage accessed from Cameron Ave
- new exterior cladding
- replacement of windows and doors to higher performance assemblies.
Under the site’s existing RS-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
