The Director of Planning approved the application on September 3, 2024, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


Absolute Design Services has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to perform interior and exterior alterations to the existing single detached house, consisting of:

  • Change the basement to Secondary suite
  • Alter the deck in rear yard and add glass rail
  • Change the second floor of garage to study room
  • Renew the existing roof siding with metal roof siding

Under the site’s existing FSHCA zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
