The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on June 6, 2023.


Farpoint Architectural Inc. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to add, alter and convert this existing one-family dwelling to a one-family dwelling with secondary suite, to alter and retain the existing Coach House and to develop a detached accessory building (garage) on this site, consisting of:

  • A proposed Floor Space Ratio of 0.45 for the protected heritage property (Approximately 7,279 sq. ft.)
  • A proposed floor area of 1,227 sq. ft. for the Coach House
  • A proposed height of approximately 37.5 ft.
  • Four vehicle parking spaces, having access from the lane

Under the site’s existing FSCHA zoning district, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
