The Director of Planning approved the application on October 4, 2022, subject to conditions. A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"
Bouthouse Designs Group has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:
- To perform interior/exterior alterations and a change of use from Retail (6 CRU's) to a Child Care Facility for 16 children, having four parking spaces with vehicular access from the lane
- A Floor Space Ratio of 0.54 (4,394 sq. ft.)
- Hours of Operation: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday to Saturday
Under the site’s existing C-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
