The Director of Planning approved the application on October 18, 2023, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


DA Architects and Planners have applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop a new three-storey neighbourhood house, consisting of:

  • A floor space ratio of 1.22 (approximately 18,030 sq. ft.)
  • A proposed height of approximately 45.6 ft.
  • One level of underground parking, having access from Alice Street

Under the site’s pending CD-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
