An appeal was heard by the Board of Variance on January 16, 2024 and was ALLOWED, thereby overturning the decision of the Director of Planning. A Development Permit was issued on January 29, 2024.
Diamond Group Architecture has applied at the City of Vancouver for permission to perform interior alterations for the whole building and to change the use of a portion of the 2nd floor, and the entire 3rd floor from Manufacturing Use to Club Use on this site, consisting of:
A total floor area of 8,974.2 sq. ft.
Hours of operation from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional activities in the evenings and weekends
Under the site’s existing I-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
