427 E Hastings St (DP-2024-00706) development application

Overdose Prevention Services Society, (contracted by Vancouver Coastal Health), is requesting permission from the City of Vancouver to change the use, at the above-noted address, from an outdoor parking area to a Social Services Centre use, consisting of:

• Overdose prevention and support services
• Located on northeast portion of outdoor parking area
• Hours of operation: 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days a week

Under the site’s existing DEOD zoning, the application is “conditional”, and the Director of Planning is prepared to exercise discretion to issue the permit for this conditional use.
