4343 W 10th Ave (DP-2025-00098) development application

The Director of Planning approved the application on May 14, 2025, subject to conditions. A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents”.

Limelight Childcare Center has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission for interior and exterior alterations and change of use to a Child Day Care Facility, at the above-noted address, consisting of:

• A maximum of 43 children, aged 30 months to school age
• Approximately 3,769.0 square feet
• Proposed hours of operation:
  • Monday to Friday: 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
  • closed weekends, Statutory holidays, as well as one week during Christmas and one week in the summer

Under the site’s existing C-2 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted, however it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
