The Director of Planning approved the application on September 22, 2022, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


Giant Union Design Architecture and Planning Ltd. Has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop a six storey, plus amenity level, multiple dwelling building consisting of:

  • 26 Dwelling Units
  • A proposed floor area of 26,347 sq.ft. (2,448 m²)
  • A proposed height of 67 ft. (20.4 m)
  • A roof top amenity space
  • Two levels of underground parking, having vehicular access from the lane

Under the site’s existing CD-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
