Dys Architecture has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop a 13-storey Community Care Facility building in Sub-area B, consisting of:
- A total of 240 assisted living and long-term care units intended for seniors
- A Childcare Facility and a multi-purpose room for community use
- A proposed total floor area of approximately 210,477.3 sq. ft./ 19,554 m²
- A geodetic height elevation of 430.1 ft./ 131.1 m
- All over two level of underground parking, with vehicular access from St. John II Way and Heather St
Under the site’s existing CD-1(82) zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
