The Director of Planning approved the application on February 4, 2026, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


Marcon Developments has applied to the City of Vancouver for a development application to develop a 29-storey, mixed-use building, consisting of:

  • 586 hotel units
  • Retail and commercial
  • Eight-storey Lumberman's building to be retained
  • Façade retention of two-storey Captain Pybus building
  • Four levels of underground parking with vehicular access from the lane

This proposal is subject to Council enactment of the CD-1 rezoning, approval of the Form of Development and decision by the Director of Planning.
