The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on November 6, 2025.


Stuart Howard Architects has applied for a minor amendment to the City of Vancouver for permission to perform interior and exterior alterations, as follows:

  • Add roof top decks to front units 1 & 2 at level 3
  • Add roof top decks to rear units 4 & 5 at roof level. Unit 4 roof top access via internal staircase, Unit 5 access via exterior stairs from level 2 at laneway facing roof area
  • Reconfigure garbage room and bike room
  • Change concrete wall guardrail down to for glass guard
  • Change to some exterior window location and or sizes refer to elevations
  • Deleted deck areas from roof of Unit 1 & 2 at level 3
  • Extend Unit 4 & 5 parapet on North facade and delete eaves at pop out areas
  • Delete front fence and gate

Under the site’s existing RM-8A zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
