The Director of Planning approved the application on January 13, 2023, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


Scott Posno Design has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:

  • To develop a two-storey, one family dwelling with secondary suite
  • Two-car detached garage and refurbish existing two-car detached accessory building (garage) at the rear, providing four parking spaces having vehicular access from the lane

Under the site’s existing RS-5 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.

Review of design guidelines applicable to one and two family dwellings in this district has been streamlined, as per the Council report of June 8, 2021, as a temporary measure for one year. On June 7, 2022, Council extended the streamlined review process for an additional two years.
