An appeal was heard by the Board of Variance on March 12, 2024 and was ALLOWED, thereby overturning the decision of the Director of Planning.  A Development Permit was issued on April 2, 2024.


Generation Cannabis has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission for alterations and change of use from Small-Scale Pharmacy to a Cannabis Retail Store, at the above-noted address, consisting of:

  • Proposed relocation from 719 East Broadway
  • Approximately 1,300.0 sq. ft.
  • Proposed hours of operation:
    • 9:00 am to 11:00 pm, seven days a week

Under the site’s existing C-2C zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
