The Director of Planning approved the application on June 26, 2023, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"

Intracorp Projects Limited has applied for a permit to develop a six-storey Community Care Facility – Class B, consisting of:

  • 220 assisted living and long term care units intended for seniors
  • A proposed floor area of 219,658 sq.ft. (20,407 m²)
  • A proposed height of 697.67 ft. (29.3 m)
  • One level of underground parking, having vehicular access from the lane

Under the site’s proposed CD-1 zoning the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
