This application has been revised. The revised proposal includes a reduction to the overall density and reduction in the proportion of below-market rental units. Further information is noted below.
The City of Vancouver has received an application to rezone the subject site from C-1 (Commercial) District to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. The proposal is to allow for the development of an 18-storey mixed-use building with a six-storey podium and includes:
189 rental units with 13% of the floor area for below-market rental units;
Commercial space, allowing for a grocery store and privately-owned childcare;
The proposal exceeds the height and density of the applicable area of the Cambie Corridor Plan (4.4.4 Area B).
