6538 Oak St (DP-2021-00053) development application

The Director of Planning approved the application on August 30, 2021, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


Fougere Architecure Inc. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:

  • Four three-storey multiple dwelling buildings containing a total of 18 units
  • Building heights of 10.8 m at the front of the site and 9.4 m at the rear of the site
  • A total Floor Space Ratio of 1.2 (27,664 sq. ft.)
  • 19 parking spaces with access off of the rear and side lanes

Under the site’s proposed RM-8AN zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
