The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on March 7, 2023.

Wiedemann Architectural Design has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to alter existing buildings on site, convert a portion of the existing two-storey greenhouse (Bldg. B) to be partial residential use complete with covered ground level breezeway connection to the existing two-storey one-family dwelling (Bldg. C), consisting of:

  • A proposed total residential Floor Space Ratio of 0.05 for the site (approximately 5,427 sq. ft.)
  • Alterations to the existing farm storage/garage (Bldg. A), greenhouse (Bldg. B), and stables (Bldg. E)
  • Relocation of existing garden shed (Bldg. D) on site
  • Removal of storage shed (Bldg. F)
  • New entry gates and fence

Under the site’s existing RA-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
