The Director of Planning approved the application on April 26, 2023, subject to conditions. A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"
Wiedemann Architectural Design has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:
- A single detached house with a detached garage, consisting of:
- A total height of approximately 35 ft.
- A total Floor Space Ratio of 0.1 (approximately 5,400 sq.ft.)
- Two parking spaces having vehicular access from West 55th Avenue.
- A stable and a farm storage, consisting of:
- A total height of approximately 25 ft. for the stable and 24 ft. for the farm storage.
- A total Floor Space Ratio of 0.09 (approximately 5,000 sq.ft.) for the stable and farm storage
Under the site’s existing RA-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
