719 E Broadway (DP-2020-00854) cannabis retail development application

This appeal was heard by the Board of Variance on June 15, 2021 and was ALLOWED, thereby overturning the decision of the Director of Planning.  A Development Permit was issued on September 15, 2021.


Pineapple Exchange Cannabis Corp. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission:

  • To perform interior alterations and a change of use from Retail to Retail – Cannabis Store
  • Proposed hours of operation: 9 am – 11 pm, seven (7) days a week
  • Approximately 546.00 sq. ft.

Under the site’s existing C-2C zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
