7510 Cambie St (DP-2021-00745) development application

The Director of Planning approved the application on February 14, 2022, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


Yamamoto Architecture has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop two six-storey mixed-use buildings, consisting of:

  • Retail at grade, including a change from the original rezoning application to include retail use at grade in sub-area B
  • 90 dwelling units from the second to sixth storeys
  • A proposed floor space ratio of 2.93
  • A proposed floor area of 86,343 ft2 (8,021 m2)
  • A proposed height of 74.3 ft. (22.64 m)
  • Two levels of underground parking, having vehicular access from the lane

Under the site’s existing CD-1(627) zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
