The Director of Planning approved the application on September 24, 2026, subject to conditions. A Development Permit will be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents".
Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop a one-storey accessory building (fieldhouse) including washrooms, storage, change rooms and mechanical/electrical room accessory to this existing Park (Moberly Park) and a new synthetic turf hockey field with sport field lighting, consisting of:
A floor space ratio (FSR) of 0.01 (237 m² / 2,551.05 sq.ft.)
A height of 5 m (16.4 ft.)
Under the site’s existing R1-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
