The Director of Planning approved the application on January 18, 2022, subject to conditions. A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"
Schmidt & Associates Development Planning Ltd. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop on the site, a motor vehicle repair shop and vehicle dealer building consisting of:
- A proposed Height of approximately 17m (56 ft.)
- A proposed Floor Space Ratio of 0.6 (approximately 3436 m² /36,985 sq. ft.)
- Providing 156 parking spaces having vehicular access from Borden Street
Under the site’s existing I-2 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
