8181 Borden St (DP-2021-00733) development application

The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on May 5, 2023.


Schmidt & Associates Development Planning Ltd. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop on the site, a motor vehicle repair shop and vehicle dealer building consisting of:

  • A proposed Height of approximately 17m (56 ft.)
  • A proposed Floor Space Ratio of 0.6 (approximately 3436 m² /36,985 sq. ft.)
  • Providing 156 parking spaces having vehicular access from Borden Street

Under the site’s existing I-2 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
