The Director of Planning has requested you be advised that this application was considered on May 23, 2024, and was refused. It should be noted, however, that the applicant has the right to appeal this decision of refusal to the Board of Variance in accordance with the provisions of the Vancouver Charter.
Alpha Tobacco House of Cigars has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:
- A change of use from Retail Store to Cannabis Store
- A floor area of approximately 807.3 sq. ft.
- Proposed hours of operation from 9 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Saturday
Under the site’s existing C-5 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
