993 Broughton St (DP-2021-00178) development application

The Director of Planning approved the application on July 8, 2021, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit will be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information please contact the Project Coordinator directly at dallas.arcangel@vancouver.ca 


Bradbury Architecture Inc. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:

  • To renovate the existing three-storey plus basement Heritage 'B', one-family dwelling by lowering the basement by approximately 2.5 ft. and converting the attic into habitable floor area
  • Rebuilding and raise the existing roof dormers only by approximately 2.25 ft. (no change to maximum peak height)
  • A floor space ratio of 1.44 (4,146 sq. ft.)

Under the site’s existing RM-5 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
