Columbia Park Renewal concept plan

Draft Columbia Park renewal concept plan

As part of the City of Vancouver’s work to develop a blue‑green system along Alberta Street (from West 37th Avenue to 45th Avenue), the Park Board is bringing forward several improvements to Columbia Park. This blue‑green system will create a park‑like street that supports ecological connections, active transportation, and natural stormwater management.

On March 30, staff will present a proposed concept design for Columbia Park Renewal to the Park Board for approval. The design is shaped by what we heard from the community and responds to the needs of this growing neighbourhood by updating aging amenities, expanding features, and creating a more welcoming, ecologically connected park space.
